Christmas at Crystal

Specific Need

All donations for Christmas at Crystal go toward growing the light the display. This year in particular we would like to construct a permant Santa hut for our greeters. The Santa hut has been a mobile building donated by the Chamber of Commerce. We have used it as a place to hand out candy canes and receive donations as patrons exit the park. While it has served us well, a permant building will provide a better place for our greeters to warm up, a little more storage in the off season, and be more pleasing to the eye.

Crystal Springs is a beautiful park with many amenities. But typically in the winter, the park spends several months cold and dark. We are dedicated to brighten the park, spread Christmas cheer, attract visitors to Fairbury, and provide a much needed winter event for our residents. Our goal is to continue to grow this light display until the entire park is filled. There is plenty of room for more displays. While we certainly appreciate ALL donations we recieve, I would like to remind everyone we need more hands as well. This light display is made up of many small displays. If you would like to decorate your own small area, please let us know. There is plenty of room for you all to join in the fun.
