Specific Need

The Diller Community Foundation Fund is focused on growing its endowment to increase the amount of funding available for local grants each year. This year we granted $43,564.96 back into our community. A larger endowment means more resources can be reinvested back into Diller, supporting community improvements, local organizations, youth programs, and future opportunities. By strengthening the endowment today, we ensure lasting impact and greater support for our community for generations to come! As of today, we have reinvested over $1.05 MILLON back into our Diller community!

Established in June 1999, the Diller Community Foundation Fund (DCFF) is a locally led philanthropic initiative dedicated to strengthening the quality of life in Diller and Jefferson County through lasting charitable investment. As an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation, DCFF harnesses the power of community giving to support meaningful local projects, nurture community potential, and inspire residents to dream big for the future.

At its core, the Fund encourages charitable giving and builds endowment resources that ensure ongoing support for both current needs and future opportunities. The Fund operates with a clear vision: Diller is a place where all are inspired to dream, grow, and give back. Its mission focuses on fostering generosity and investing in the people, programs, and places that make Diller a vibrant place to live.

The Fund’s work is guided by strong values, leadership, integrity, collaboration, and growth, and supports a range of community accounts, including youth sports, local food and nutrition programs, Main Street improvements, historic preservation (such as the Opera House and museum), park enhancements, and an Unrestricted Endowment that fuels annual grants.

Through strategic fundraising, endowment growth, and community collaboration, DCFF has become a cornerstone of local philanthropic effort, helping to preserve rich heritage, enhance community assets, and empower initiatives that shape a stronger, more connected Jefferson County for present and future generations.
