Specific Need

Each summer, since the 1970s, the Optimist Club of Fairbury has organized instructional T-Ball for youth ages 4 and up. This annual program is open to any youth in Jefferson County for free. The club provides balls, bats and tees for the 4 week program and each participant receives a t-shirt. Each summer we average 40-50 youth participants. Your donations will help offset costs for T-Ball.

Mission

Since 1954, the Optimist Club of Fairbury has been "bringing out the best" in our youth, our communities and ourselves. As the "Friend of Youth" we are committed to serving the youth of Fairbury and Jefferson County through service projects including Optimist Youth T-Ball, Youth Appreciation Dinner and more.
