Specific Need

TriCounty TeamMates is a self-funded chapter.
All operations — including coordinator support, mentor resources, student events, community outreach, and scholarships — are made possible entirely through funds raised within our community.

Our current priority is securing sustainable funding that allows us to continue expanding the chapter’s mission and growing the scholarship fund without increasing the number of fundraisers we ask our community to support.

Mission

Our vision is to inspire every student with the opportunity for strengths-based mentorship, where trust, compassion, and hope are the foundation of their journey. Through mentorship we aim to cultivate healthy relationships, foster academic excellence, and nurture a positive sense of self-worth in every match. Ultimately, empowering students and mentors to thrive and reach their fullest potential with confidence and resilience.

Profile

TriCounty TeamMates is a school-based mentoring program dedicated to connecting students with caring adult mentors who provide encouragement, consistency, and support throughout their school years.

Our first mentoring matches were made in 2018, and since then the program has continued to grow through strong community involvement and a shared commitment to investing in local youth. Today, we proudly serve 64 active mentor-student pairs, with 20 additional students currently waiting for a mentor — a clear reflection of both the need and the trust families place in our program.

This year, we celebrate four graduating seniors, marking an important milestone as students we’ve walked alongside prepare for their next chapter. Last year, we also awarded our first TeamMates scholarships, supporting students as they transition beyond high school and reinforcing our mission to impact their future long after graduation.

Through mentorship, scholarships, and community connection, TriCounty TeamMates is helping students build confidence, character, and a vision for what is possible in their lives.
